We believe in what we do - real ale is simply the best tasting beer in the world! Whatever the style, whether it be a Pale Ale, Stout, Bitter or American IPA – that style will taste better as a real ale.
At T.E.A. Time we have brought our family history of brewing award winning ales in the U.K. to Poland. We brew delicious, authentic, English real ales to perfection. Our beers are served via handpumps from casks located in our cold cellar under the bar, direct to your glass at the bar!
It's about beer
At T.E.A. Time everything is about beer. In fact we are so passionate about our beer and we only want to drink the finest quality ales. That's why we brew authentic, English real ales – just like in England. Taste the difference for yourself in our T.E.A. Time Brewpub.
It's about history
T.E.A. Time has a brewing history that dates back to 1992 when John Eastwood starting Eastwood's brewery in Huddersfield, England. Eastwood's brewery won numerous CAMRA Best Beer of Festival awards in many towns and cities in the UK, including: Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax, Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham, Stockport, Peterborough and Bronze award at the Great British Beer Festival in London. Some of the awards that Eastwood's won are on display at T.E.A. Time.
Today, some of John Eastwood's original recipes are being brewed again at T.E.A. Time under the direction of his son - James. Black Prince, Nettlethrasher and England's Glory are just some of the original Eastwood beers that are now being brewed and served in our brewpub. In addition to Eastwood's recipes, many new exciting brews have also been developed by the T.E.A. Time team.
Fact: When founded in 2014, T.E.A. Time became the First and Only Real Ale Brewpub in Poland.
It's about purity
We do not add any “extras” to our beer, so you will not find any additives or enhancing chemicals to interfere with the natural, fresh flavour and aroma of our beers. Real ales are the freshest, most natural form of beer available – and we are proud to use only the finest ingredients, including malted barley imported from the UK and freshly packed whole hops. Even our water is pure... the Krakow water we brew with was recently recognised as the purest in Europe, and second only in the world to Singapore!
We are also concerned about the environment and ethically dispose of the spent grain and hops from our brewery with local farmers.
It's about real ale
At T.E.A. Time all our house beers are served via a traditional hand pump (just like in English pubs). Our hand pumps draw our fine ales direct from casks located in our cold cellar directly under the bar. Cask-conditioned beer, which undergoes a second fermentation in the cask – is the best tasting beer in the world, bar none.
It's about freshness
Real ales undergo a second fermentation in the cask, after the main fermentation has finished. This second fermentation keeps ours beers alive and fresh, with more flavour and aroma to enjoy compared to conditioned beers.
Our cask ales are brewed without artificial carbonation – which means that our ales are not as gassy or fizzy as other craft ales and lagers, and when served via hand pump – the end result is a perfect pint – delicious, naturally carbonated real English ale.
It's about choice
At T.E.A. Time we have 6 hand pumps – with a rotating selection of beers available – from light and refreshing pale ales through to rich, full-bodied stout and porter. The choice is yours - but whatever you choose when you visit, you know that every pint will be served in prime condition.
It's about the best beer in the world!
We believe in what we do - real ale is simply the best tasting beer in the world! Whatever the style, whether it be a Pale Ale, Stout or American IPA – that style will taste better as a real ale.
Drinking fresh, unpasteurised real ales that have been hand-crafted in our own brewery is what we do. It's what we love, it's our life, it's our passion. In fact, we are so passionate about what we do – we love to share it too – lucky you!
